RTS announces the appointment of Cristian de la Fuente as Director of Property and Engineering in Chile

Cristián de la Fuente is joining the RTS team in Chile as Director of Property and Engineering. A Civil Engineer and Official Claims Settler, he has more than 27 years’ professional experience.
For 11 years, De la Fuente worked as the Assistant Manager of Construction Claims for Charles Taylor Adjusting, working on loss appraisals and claims associated to insurance policies of many different branches, both in Chile and in other countries in the region, such as Peru, Colombia or Uruguay.
He specialises in Property and Engineering, All Risk, Construction and Erection insurance, leading technical teams in the settlement of massive catastrophic claims, on the international level. In addition to this technical work, he has taught at several educational and corporate institutions associated to the Insurance and Construction sector in Chile.
The recent incorporation of Cristián de la Fuente reinforces the operations of RTS Chile, which began operating locally in 2010, with its own offices now established in Santiago and Viña del Mar. De la Fuente will be supported by the local and regional directors, José Francisco Vergara and David Castillo, for Property and Engineering claims.
RTS’ operation in Chile works in close cooperation with the group’s other offices in America, located in neighbouring countries, such as Argentina or Peru, and with the support of the Group’s resources in the large international markets where the regional businesses are concentrated (Miami, London and Madrid) and the VRS Adjusters network.
