RTS joins APCAS Empresas as a new associated adjustment firm

- The objective is to pool efforts and resources for the common good of the Spanish insurance sector.
RTS, the loss appraisal and adjustment firm present inPortugal and Latin America for more than 15 years and with more than 27 years providing services to the Spanish insurance market, has become a new associated adjustment firm and member of the APCAS (Association of Insurance Adjusters and Maritime Surveyors), through its division known as APCAS
Empresas.
After the dissolution of the AESPER (Association of Adjustment Service Providers), of which RTS was a member, the firm has now joined the APCAS, with the goal of working together in pursuit of a common objective: establishing consistent guidelines and procedures in the sector and regulating the services provided by professional adjusters and adjustment firms.
According to Manuel Torres, CEO of Grupo RTS and ex-president of the AESPER: “The dissolution of AESPER and its replacement with the APCAS was in response to the need to unify the demands and interests of the Spanish Insurance Sector and to form one single representative on the national and international level. At RTS, as a pioneering adjustment firm, we understood very quickly that it was important to join APCAS Empresas, so that we all row in the same boat and toward the same common goal: working to achieve what’s best for the sector”.
