Passing of Luis Pérez Arnáu, Managing Partner of RTS

RTS International Loss Adjusters regrets having to announce the death of Luis Pérez Arnáu, Managing Partner of the company, on 7 July in Madrid
“In the name of all of us who are part of the family at RTS, we are deeply sad to report the loss of Luis, Managing Partner of RTS, our friend and a fundamental pillar in the development of our team, whose leadership and personal warmth will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and condolences are with his wife, family and friends at this very difficult time”, declared Manuel Torres, José Caraballo and Jesús Bernaldo de Quirós, Founding Partners of the company.
Luis Pérez Arnáu (Madrid 1953) held a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ICAI) and a specialist qualification in Business Interruption appraisals from the Polytechnic University of Madrid; he also held the APCAS and UNESPA Insurance Loss Adjuster qualifications and the Fuedi’s NLAE and ELAE qualifications. With a professional career spanning more than 35 years in the appraisals and adjustments sector, Luis held important executive and management positions in both national and international companies. He joined RTS in 1990, where he held different technical and executive positions, his last as director of the company’s Energy division, being recognised in the field as a reference adjuster internationally, especially in the British insurance market.

All of us who had the chance to share time with him and enjoy his dedication to work, to people and his permanent support, will remember him for a long, long time. His leadership and commitment were and will continue to be an example to us all.”
