RTS share their perspective as adjusters during Generali’s 2018 ‘Engineering Off-site’ Seminar

RTS International Loss Adjusters is the adjustment firm that was chosen to take part in Generali’s 2018 annual underwriting seminar ‘Engineering Off-site’, held recently in Madrid.
The firm’s different successful claim cases and practical studies were presented by experts from Grupo RTS, led by José Caraballo Manzanas, CEO of RTS International Loss Adjusters and Director of the Firm’s Construction and Erection Division.
José Caraballo and Luis Pérez Firmat, a specialist with extensive international experience, discussed the most significant aspects of the appraisals made by RTS in relation to a claim affecting the construction of a dike and a tunnel in Barcelona, sharing their expertise with the people attending the seminar.
Sancho Azevedo, General Director for Portugal and Brazil, discussed the important role played by RTS in the investigation of the collapse of a pillar in a viaduct on a Portuguese island, and Juan Guillermo Uribe, Director for North LATAM and the Caribbean Region, presented a very recent and well known case with significant repercussions in Latin America that occurred in a Colombian Hydroelectric Power Station.
Thanks to these talks, the attendees, including several members of Generali’s Global Corporate & Commercial team, obtained a clear and concise idea of how these types of claims need to be investigated and how these complicated policies can be handled in Spain and abroad. With the different presentations and debates, the participants discussed numerous practicalities and aspects of interest concerning claims.
