RTS to participate in a new edition of FIDES 2017 ‘El Salvador’
10 November 2017
RTS International Loss Adjusters, a company in the industrial loss adjustment sector with an international presence and significant coverage in Latin America thanks to its network of offices and teams on the ground there, is to participate once again at the 36th Hemispheric Insurance Conference organised by FIDES (Inter-American Federation of Insurance Companies), which will be held November 12-15 in El Salvador.
This new edition, FIDES 2017, will be attended by several members of the RTS management team, including the CEOs Manuel Torres and Luis Pérez Arnau. Also representing the company there will be Juan Guillermo Uribe, General Manager of LATAM North and the Caribbean, based in Miami; David Castillo, General Manager of LATAM South, working out of Buenos Aires; Juan Miguel Álvarez, Director of RTS Mexico; Ricardo Vasquez, Director of RTS Peru and Jorge Lara Chong, Director of the Honduras office.
Its ample experience in LATAM, its extensive multidisciplinary group of experts throughout the region and its speed of response to any disaster or catastrophe have enabled RTS to resolve major loss incidents swiftly and effectively, thus saving customers significant costs. This was the case, for example, of the Guatapé hydroelectric power plant in Colombia, where a fire took the facility out of service and affected other nearby plants; the role of RTS was key to resolving the incident in an effective manner, enabling hundreds of millions of dollars to be saved.
Having already participated in FIDES 2013 (Guatemala) and FIDES 2015 (Chile), in this latest edition of the conference RTS aims to strengthen relations with the insurance sector in Latin America, as well as demonstrate the specialisation of its professionals, the services it offers and the countries in which its global coverage enables it to operate, among other aspects. A range of meetings and encounters will make it possible for the company to fulfil its objectives in Latin America.
