RTS reinforces its presence in Peru

With a new office and new director
- RTS intends to reinforce its presence in Peru to meet the needs of Insurance Firms and increase the turnover in one of the countries in South America that is enjoying the strongest growth.
- Ricardo Vásquez, who has a solid career of more than 20 years in the Peruvian Insurance market, will be directing RTS’ operations in the country.
The Loss Adjustment and Appraisal Firm RTS, which is present in Europe and Latin America and has been providing its services to the insurance market for more than 27 years, is opening a new office in Lima, Peru. A country situated in the “Pacific Ring of Fire” and therefore prone to significant natural disasters, which RTS has identified as a key location from where it can continue to cover the needs of its clients and provide the best service to the Insurance market.
With this renewed commitment, the company will continue offering its services in the technical branches of Industry and Engineering, Construction, Mining, Electricity, Banking and Finance, Hospitality and Tourism… Likewise, RTS will continue to develop its business independently and with its own resources exclusively, having no operators in the Insurance market as its shareholders or any other external shareholders.
“Peru is one of the economies that is seeing the most growth in Latin America, with largescalepublic infrastructure projects and investments in production and distribution in the sectors of electricity, mining, petrochemicals, etc. At the same time, this increases the possibility of claims occurring and we shall therefore be prepared for any request we receive from our clients”, explains Luis Pérez Arnau, RTS’ CEO.
RTS appoints Ricardo Vásquez as the new Director of RTS Peru
RTS has appointed Ricardo Vásquez as the new RTS Peru Director. Ricardo is a Mechanical Engineer with Postgraduate Studies in Equipment and Machine Design and Business Administration; he also has outstanding experience in the management and processing of large-scale claims in the technical and industrial sectors in the country.
His assets include his knowhow and expertise in the settlement of Material Damage and Loss of Profit Claims and his experience evaluating large-scale claims involving very high figures, and his knowledge of Banking and Insurance (SBS-Banking and Insurance Superintendency in Peru) and the petrol industry, among others. He has worked not only in Peru but also in Chile, Ecuador and Bolivia.
“We are convinced that Ricardo Vásquez will lead and develop the RTS Peru office and take it to its topmost level. We will soon be starting a round of visits to Insurers, Reinsurers and Brokers in the Peruvian market and I am certain it will be a success”, says David Castillo, RTS International’s General Director.
